IG Saver is an independent third-party service and is not affiliated with, associated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. or Instagram. For privacy enquiries or grievance redressal, contact us at contact@igsaver.in.
Data we process
- The Instagram URL you submit and the media information returned for that request. This information is processed to complete the request and is not intentionally retained in application logs.
- Standard connection information automatically processed when communicating with the service, such as IP address, request time, and basic browser or device headers. Hosting and network infrastructure may temporarily retain limited access or security logs.
- Messages and verification information you choose to provide when contacting support, exercising rights, or reporting content.
- IG Saver does not ask for or intentionally collect your Instagram password or private-account credentials.
Why we process it
- Provide the download lookup you request and return available public media.
- Protect the service, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and maintain reliability.
- Answer support, rights, grievance, copyright, and security requests.
- Meet legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Legal grounds
Where the DPDP Act applies, processing is carried out for a lawful purpose based on valid consent or another use permitted by law, as applicable. Where another privacy law applies, IG Saver will use an available lawful basis appropriate to the requested service, security, or legal obligation. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on it, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Recipients and transfers
Data may be handled by hosting, infrastructure, security, and support providers acting for us. To fulfil a request, the submitted URL and related requests may be sent to Instagram, Meta infrastructure, content delivery networks, and media hosts. Providers may operate in other countries; where required, appropriate contractual or legal transfer safeguards should be used.
Sale, sharing, and advertising
IG Saver does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and the website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If those practices change, this notice and the required choice controls must be updated before deployment.
Retention
Submitted Instagram URLs and returned media information are processed for the requested operation and are not intentionally retained in application logs. Limited infrastructure access or security logs are configured for deletion or de-identification within 30 days, unless longer retention is necessary to investigate abuse, resolve a dispute, or comply with law. Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle the request and meet applicable records obligations.
Your choices and rights
- Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, completion, updating, erasure or deletion, withdrawal of consent, and information about processing or recipients.
- Under the DPDP Act, you may seek access, correction, completion, updating, erasure, grievance redressal, and nomination, subject to the Act and its commencement.
- Send requests to contact@igsaver.in. We may verify identity proportionately and will not discriminate for exercising a legal right.
Children
The service is for people aged 18 or older and is not directed to children. Do not submit a child's personal data. Where law requires parental consent or other safeguards, the service must not process the child's data until those requirements are met.
Complaints and changes
First contact IG Saver at contact@igsaver.in. You may also complain to the competent data protection authority where the law gives you that right. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date.
